Bryant Park
20 April 2012
Today I am visiting the Brooklyn Botanic Garden with friends. Much to my chagrin, my 50mm lens is dead; the focus has entirely stopped working. I took off the hood and back cap and wished it a fond farewell. I would have loved to have that little lens to take with me tomorrow. Since rain is forecast, we may end up entirely indoors, where the lens’ speed would have come in handy.
Alas, that means I am stuck with using my extension tubes on my 24-105 F4L. Oh, the humanity! Yeah…I think I’ll live.
It will feel wonderful to get behind the lens again for the first time in a couple of weeks!
