The day was hot and humid, so I was sweating bullets under my knapsack. Is it any wonder I spent some time studying and photographing this fountain? I made sure to focus on the water and make the background blurry, but not so blurry that it was obliterated. I also chose to use a fast enough shutter speed to get the texture of the splashes, rather than going for the smoother look a slower shutter speed would have given me.
