After the 2016 presidential election artist Matthew “Levee” Chavez invited people to write messages of love and encouragement on sticky notes and leave them on the walls inside New York City’s 14th Street – Union Square Station. He called the project “Subway Therapy”. On 20 (and again on 26) November I rode the train downtown to see it for myself.
I was NOT ready.
This is the most beautiful display of spontaneous love and support I have seen in a long time. I love New York.
