When I visit places like the Met Museum Cloisters I love seeing people capture the beauty they see with their cameras. The proliferation of personal photography allows us to capture what is meaningful to us at the moment it is meaningful to us instead of being dependent on someone else’s vision. That, to me, is beautiful.
